for online quartet
„Browsing, Idling, Investigating, Dreaming“ is an improvisation score for an online quartet.
In this piece four players are each one operating a browser window. Linked together over the internet.
This piece is an open improvisation score for four players. It deals with exploring a digital landscape through a virtual walk through Google Maps accompanied by sounds and spoken text. It’s a wandering and associating journey reflecting on the digital and hollow characteristics of that representation of the world. It can be a poetic investigation into virtual dream spaces, digital memories and glitches in our world. It happens on the border of a hollow computerized interface and an underlying personal, theoretical or invisible layer.
